Kateryna Shtanko

Kateryna Shtanko is one of the most renowned and most beloved Ukrainian book illustrators. She was born 24 July 1951 in Simferopil and finished the Crimean Art School in 1973. She graduated from the Ukrainian Academy of Arts in 1979 and held a creative residency at the Academy from 1979-1983. She has participated in and has won many awards in Ukrainian and international exhibitions. She is the author of several dozen illustrated books for children.
