Zhenia Hapchynska is a very popular artist and painter in Ukraine. She was born on 15 November 1974 in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, the fifth child in the family. She entered the Kharkiv Art School at the age of 13 and later graduated from the Kharkiv Art Institute.
After an intership at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg, Germany, Hapychynska moved to Kyiv in 2000 and launched an impressive series of exhibitions that attracted the attention of collectors from throughout Europe. In her very productive creative path she exhibits annually in Ukraine, Russia, France, Belgium, England, the Netherlands and other countries. She is represented by galleries in Ukraine and Russia and her works are to be found in European museums and private collections by noted figures such as Luciano Pavarotti and others.
