Accompanied by the translators Jutta Lindekugel and Lydia Nagel, Ivan Malkovych explained the amazed German schoolchildren that both Germany and Ukraine have a common neighbor – Poland.

Reciting a jolly nursery rhyme accompanied by Lesia Voronyna and Jutta Lindekugel.

Cologne. Two meetings with German schoolchildren in the Cologne Theatre. Accompanied by J. Lindekugel and N. Simon I am lecturing about Ukraine and we read excerpts from the book “Lisa and Her Dreams”.

German schoolchildren are well bred: they are good listeners and they wind up easily when listening to some joyful reading. But it is enough to put a finger over the lips to make the audience listen attentively again.

Enthusiasm of hundreds of German schoolchildren was a pleasant surprise.

On the first meeting in the theatre, Ukraine ringed a bell to perhaps ten kids among roughly two hundred fifty schoolchildren…On the second meeting the teachers from other schools did a better job: the majority of the audience have heard and known about Ukraine.
