“A-BA-BA-HA-LA-MA-HA” presented the first book from the Harry Potter book series in the night from 13 to 14 April 2002. That was a gorgeous show on Khreshchatyk, the main street of Ukraine’s capital, which gathered more than a thousand people with their children. Here is a quote from “The Book Review” newspaper: “In the night from 13 to 14 April the ordinary Kyiv dwellers and the city guests could watch a real wonder: really, where in Ukraine is it possible to see a big queue? In the middle of the night? And not just a queue, but a queue for a book? For a book in Ukrainian? It can happen only in the case when Ivan Malkovych and his “A-BA-BA-HA-LA-MA-HA Publishers” get to work…"
The Ukrainian translations and book covers of the Harry Potter book series are considered to be among the best in the world. Many experts consider our original covers to be the very best at all…
The Ukrainian readers were lucky enough to become perhaps the world's first readers of the translation of the 5th, 6th and 7th HP volumes after the English “pottermaniacs”…
Before the emergence of the final HP book, a big TV-interview with J.K. Rowling was broadcast from her own office. The only book turned face side to the viewers became the first volume of the “A-BA-BA-HA-LA-MA-HA” “Harry Potter”.
“A-BA-BA-HA-LA-MA-HA” published the translations of the 5th and the 7th HP volumes the first in the world.
